So, you want to be an entrepreneur.
Before you make that fateful decision, here are three qualities that every successful one has — and if you don’t have them, I would strongly recommend rethinking your career choice.
1. You’ve got to be f*cking crazy.
What I mean by this is that you’ve got to see the world differently than other people do.
The name of the entrepreneurial game is taking risks, so that should be something you don’t mind doing.
You understand that not doing something is worse than trying and failing — because at least you tried.
2. You must be #SolutionFocused.
If you want to be an entrepreneur, then you have to be the kind of person who seeks out problems in need of solving.
You’re always thinking of ways you could improve processes. You want to make things more efficient and provide greater value for users. If there’s a way to do it better, faster, or cheaper, you’re going to figure it out
3. You’re not afraid to work your a** off.
I’ve never met a successful entrepreneur who isn’t willing to put in the hard work whenever duty calls.
There’s no such thing as a 9:00-5:00 work schedule. In fact, it’s more like 24/7, 365 days a year.
Your business hours know no bounds, and you’ve got to be willing to seal the deal whenever and wherever.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur, I believe these are three characteristics that are non-negotiable.
