Don’t Let a Setback Ruin Your Whole Day

Let’s face it: Problems and setbacks are inevitable in life — but how you deal with them is completely up to you.

Just because something bad happens at some point throughout your day doesn’t mean it has to define how the rest of your day goes.

Over the years, I’ve learned something that’s helped me avoid one setback ruining my entire day, and I want to share it with you.

I split my day up in sections:

  1. 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  2. 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  3. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  4. 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  5. 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

When you split your time up into sections like this, you basically get five days in one.

So if something happens during the third quadrant of your day, it might only ruin that one quadrant, meaning you’ve still got two more left that could end up being fantastic. You’ve still got plenty of time to turn your day around.

If you break your day up into sections, you’ve got multiple opportunities to continue having a great day.

This has been helpful to me, and I know it can work for you too.
